Pricing: All orders are in Canadian $dollars and do not include taxes or
shipping charges.
Payment: We are pleased to accept Cheque, Money Order, Visa,
MasterCard or American Express as payment. Please do not send cash.
If ordering by mail, all Cheques and Money Orders should be made
payable to AgrestalOrganic Heritage Seed. Sorry, no C.O.D orders
accepted. A $15.00 service charge will apply on all NSF/returned
cheques. If you are placing an order on-line you must pay by Credit
Card. We regret that we will no longer be able to offer due on receipt
or invoiced payment options. The added accounting and follow-up time
required to handle these accounts has become far too costly.

Substitutions: We are a small producer so sell-outs do happen
throughout the season. Our best advice is to order early to ensure
availability. In the event that we are sold out of an item you have
requested, we will send a suitable replacement and/or credit note.
If ordering by mail or fax, please consider checking our website, or
calling-in your order with payment, to ensure that what you have
requested is still available. The website will be kept updated on a
regular basis.
Shipping: All orders will be shipped Canada Post Expedited Parcel
Service, or First-Class mail. Shipping and Handling charges are as
follows;

Orders over 1kg: Shipping on all orders weighing greater than 1kg will
be charged at cost.
Rush Orders: Sorry, we are unable to offer rush service at this time.
Ordering Garlic: All orders for garlic must be accompanied with a credit
card number for payment to hold your order. Your credit card will not be
charged until the garlic is shipped in September.
One Final Note: We realize that shipping costs have become a major
concern with a lot of folks, but please do not call us asking for a
reduction. Canada Post continues to increase their rates on an annual
basis. Postage is an expense over which we have no control.
Whether you purchase 1 packet of seed or 20, invoicing still has to be
prepared, accounts adjusted, shipping, packaging and mailing labels
have to be printed, your order filled, and appropriately packed, and
then driven to the post office and postage applied. Unfortunately these
costs cannot be “hidden” in the price of the seed. We have to stick to
our shipping charges as printed in order to remain fair to everyone.

Taxes: For Canadian residents are as follows:
PST (8%): Ontario residents only.
Commercial Growers must provide Purchase Exemption Certificate
and Vendor permit # for exemption.
GST (5%): All Canadian residents excluding NB, NS and NL.
HST (13%): NB, NS, NL residents only.
Our Guarantee
First and foremost is our concern that your garden will be a success. Agrestal Organic Heritage Seed guarantees your full satisfaction. Our focus is on culturally unique and out-of-the-ordinary, quality heirloom varieties of vegetable, herb, fruit and flower seed. Open-pollinated, non-hybrid seed, which produce the same great tasting and reliable product year after year, century after century. We choose to produce our seed organically. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase or seed, we will either replace it or refund the purchase price. However, our guarantee is limited in that good growth and production depends upon weather, soil and cultural practices over which we have no control. Every growing location has its own set of environmental factors. The secret for successful gardening is finding the perfect variety for your particular location. For this reason, we limit our liability in all instances to the purchase price of the seed. If these terms and conditions are not acceptable, please immediately return the unopened package of seed for a full refund. Acceptance and use of the seed constitutes buyer acknowledgement of the conditions of sale and the limitations of this guarantee. |
